Features

Small "GIS to go" application with several GNSS related functionality, especially for mobile use cases on Windows computers with touchscreen (tablets), enhanced functionality for touch only user interface on smaller screen sizes (even with relatively high DPI display models)
Background maps from popular online service providers (OpenStreetMap, Bing Maps) or by using offline tiles in slippy map format* (stored in documents folder, much faster for zooming and panning), generated e.g. by using Maperitive*
Direct beeline navigation to all geometry objects (points, paths, areas) in the data manager as well as to free editable target positions (coordinates input and/or projection converter)
Predefined and freely configurable geodetic reference systems, with position converter between geographic and projected system
Integrated Bluetooth manager for direct SPP connectivity to Original FeldLog Hardware with Bluetooth interface (thus no need anymore to use obsolete COM port technology), much more powerful and comfortable among other things thanks to modern asynchronous programming*
Quick switchable GNSS raw data logging in background thread
Integrated Ntrip Client for RTCM forwarding to connected GNSS receiver resp. RTK rover devices (with optional logging in background thread)
Freely definable offset of measured positions to antenna position (relative to actual direction of travel resp. antenna distance to ground), automatic conversion of the geometries for surveying with activated offset
Integrated survey diary with calendar display, easy browsing through previous surveys in chronological order with display of various metadata (name, short description, type of geometry, number of vertices as well as north-south and east-west extent for paths or areas, distance to actual location) and direct call-up of the metadata editor for currently displayed geometry

Note: This application is theoretically able to run on all versions of Windows from including Windows 7, but developed and tested only on computers using the most current system (currently Windows 10 version 21H1 for x64, with additional x86 installer for 32 bit only computers).
